What Hacker News says?

  1. An ETH wallet is just a private/publik keypair. You only have to generate a compatible pair [1] and write it in a piece if paper. What makes it "cold" is that you dont place your keys sonwhere online (myetherwallet, exodus, etc) so it cant be hacked. [1] https://www.arthurkoziel.com/generating-ethereum-addresses-i...

  3. Nice, thank you! This does look promising. https://www.arthurkoziel.com/replacing-docker-desktop-for-ma... According to this article, file sharing between the container and the host is about 80% faster in Colima than Docker Desktop for Mac, but still much slower than native: # Docker Desktop for Mac IOPS: 1545 Bandwidth: 6.3MB/s # Colima IOPS: 2786 Bandwidth: 11.4MB/s # Native IOPS: 28.6k Bandwidth: 117MB/s Colima d…

  9. https://www.arthurkoziel.com/running-virt-manager-and-libvir... This guy seems to have a brew package for it. At the bottom he has a warning and a link to another blog post about HVF acceleration (no idea what that is) which seems to work on the command line. I suspect there'd be a way to incorporate that to the xml file in the gui.
