there's a very nice strategy for this - the upgrade module allows you to run ng2 components inside of ng1 apps (or vice-versa) so you can incrementally upgrade. There's a great blog post by the Thoughtram team here : http://blog.thoughtram.io/angular/2015/10/24/upgrading-apps-...

  5. I would never use that. It uses SHA1. The problem is the hash, not the signing. A secure package identifier doesn't necessarily need to be signed. Conversely, you must have a decent hash algorithm. Your mentioned method signs the git commit hash. A signature is only as good as the hash you use, and SHA1 is not suitable. https://blog.thoughtram.io/git/2014/11/18/the-anatomy-of-a-g... Also see https://github.com/git/g…

  9. > Zones monkey-patches global asynchronous operations such as setTimeout() and addEventListener(), which is why Angular can easily find out, when to update the DOM. https://blog.thoughtram.io/angular/2016/02/01/zones-in-angul... 13. Since we are yet to see the first Angular2 release (almost there, but not yet); most Angular2 third-party resources may not provide the most up to date information, so the best place to learn Angular right now is really the official Angular documentation i.e. https://angular.io/ , because it is updated quite often. 1. If you are looking for a book to learn in a sequential way then ng-book is a good option. ng-book i…

Aside from the resources already mentioned the articles by thoughtram are very good. They explore a wide range of Angular 2 topics. They admittedly can be a bit verbose at times but they do a great job at explaining relevant concepts to beginners: https://blog.thoughtram.io/categories/angular-2/ https://blog.thoughtram.io/exploring-angular-2/
