What Hacker News says?
Maybe thinking of AirPaper? Not taking new customers at this time. Some co-workers have raved about https://www.fancyhands.com/ for this kind of stuff, not sure if that's any different from Magic, though.

HN discussionI'm currently trying out FancyHands https://www.fancyhands.com/ A task is 20 minutes, if it takes longer they ask you to use more than one credit on a single task. And there was one task so far that took so long I ended up doing it myself (they refunded my credit for that one). But overall it has been decent. I haven't tried others yet. I picked them because their minimum fee is reasonable. As it is I have trouble u…

HN discussionFrom their website: "Fancy Hands can purchase things for you. Yep, if you ask us to buy toner cartridges, lunch, or tickets, we can handle it. First off, security is our number one priority with this feature and it's totally baked in from the start. At no point, does your assistant, or anybody else at Fancy Hands have access to your credit card number. Not bad, right? You don't have to worry about a rogue assistant…

on “Ask HN: Who is Hiring? (October 2011)”I've used Fancy Hands ( https://www.fancyhands.com/ ) before and had good results with it, though it's probably not really price-competitive with MT; I paid about $15 for a quite large amount of scraping work that would've been annoying to write software to do.

on “Jarvis: Personal assistant via SMS”I'm a big fan of the startup FancyHands - https://www.fancyhands.com/ . The value proposition offered by the two services is similar: text a task, have an on-demand assistant find a solution for you. I do wish sometimes FH would return something faster: response for me range from 30m to a few hours. Though it sound like the with the current scaling pains at Magic, they aren't fully living up to their promised respon…

on “Vanishing phone customer support is driving us all insane”I really like the idea of gamification when it comes to business and love this approach. Rather than asking HN if you would do this, build a light weight version and test it - even if it sites at another domain - throw some paid at it and see if you can get 20 people to opt-in. As for rev model and long term - what other things could you incoporate/affiliate like http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/18/maneesh-seth…

on “Ask HN: Get paid cash to get shit done?!
