What Hacker News says?

  1. Digg never seemed like the kind of company that was run by an engineering culture. It feels like a MySpace type of company, where they have good marketing / media people but not about the technology and platform. One thing that suggests this is that most of the early engineering talent has left [ http://atomized.org/2010/08/they-can%E2%80%99t-go-back/ ] , which is not something you see at Google, Facebook, or even R…

  11. Seems entirely intentional... <!--[if IE]> <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://atomized.org/wp-content/themes/atomized2/ie.css type="text/css" media="screen"> <![endif]--> I find it pretty hilarious, myself. The site is quite nice in firefox, but I would have immediately turned away if I were using ie. He must be making some assumptions about his readers.

  13. The 23 Cocoa build is a bit broken, though: http://atomized.org/2009/08/cocoa-emacs-231-cvs-builds-and-t... I've since reverted to the Carbon Emacs 22 build (since I can't cope without fullscreen).
