    > Are dynamic inclusions simply not allowed? Correct. One of the motivating factors for ES6 modules was to create a format that can be statically analyzed and optimized. > Is eval just not allowed to import anything? Correct. This is destructuring (a new feature in ES6, the upcoming version of JavaScript). There's a great in-depth read on how it works here: http://www.2ality.com/2015/01/es6-destructuring.html

  9. I recommend taking the State of CSS[1] survey, it is a nice way of keeping up with the latest features. Other then that I use PostCSS with the postcss-preset-env[2] plugin. There you can enable various future features of the language and have it compile down to a more supported version. If your really want to dive into the future of CSS you can read the issue board for the CSSWG[3] (beware, it can suck hours out of…

  17. As you indicated, almost none of what was once called ES7 made it into the final spec: http://www.2ality.com/2016/01/ecmascript-2016.html At least exponentiation is slightly cool. Hasta la ES8 siempre I guess.

  25. Defaulting to data-last gets you 80% of the way. fn = (a -> b) -> a So your typical array mapping becomes list.map(to(v => v * 2)) All very contrived of course. Ramda’s currying [0] gives you the _ param to play with the order. But I’ve come to the conclusion that currying in JS is rarely worth the effort. 27. > Is CSS an "art" thing? Certainly![0] > Is it common for other developers to have issues with it? Boy howdy it is! Like eight years of discussion[1] on vertically centering text in a div. It's all siegeworks-engineering[2] anyway, so no surprise that we ended up here. I think at one point in time, poor Doug Crockford suggested actual versioning for things like javascript and CSS. The children shivered as though the…
