What Hacker News says?

  1. The introduction of copious amounts of whitespace is a very common design tool that is not limited to just websites. Have a look at an average art gallery or museum and you will know what I mean. And there's a reason why using whitespace is a good thing, as outlined in this article[1] for example. 15. Hey guys, I am glad my post has kicked off such an interesting discussion. It seems to have struck a nerve with people. It has also inspired me to write a followup post on my own blog looking at the subject of side projects in a little more depth: http://boagworld.com/working-in-web-design/side-projects-can...

  17. As Paul Boag noted at http://boagworld.com/reviews/vimeo/ .. Don’t host with Vimeo whatever your content. You cannot guarantee how it will be perceived by Vimeo and if they do take exception to it, there is no upgrade path. It seems, from his experience, that even alluding to commercial products or services behind the scenes can get you canned.
