Why HN links it
HN links this blog as a source on Microsoft Intune and Device Health Attestation. The only comment cites a 2023 post on the attestation chain as evidence for a point about Pluton-enabled devices.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 1 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.
Everything you want and need to know about Autopilot / Intune / MMP-C and all strings attached
What Hacker News says?
This is an issue with a lot of MS products. I honestly have no clue how much money one would have to throw at MS to get a bug fixed. For example Microsoft's *own* Pluton-enabled platforms fail Windows' Device Health Attestation checks due to an incomplete chain ( https://call4cloud.nl/2023/04/are-you-there-intune-its-me-ha... ).
