HN discussionLightTable has its own philosophy: http://www.chris-granger.com/2013/01/24/the-ide-as-data/ Sounds pretty different from Atom's modules... I guess.

HN discussionChris mentioned this at the end of a previous post: http://www.chris-granger.com/2013/01/24/the-ide-as-data/ ClojureScript on node-webkit is looking like a very interesting platform for desktop apps, especially with om/react.

HN discussion All 15 of them? The market has spoken, programmers want free stuff, and they’re happy doing it the old fashioned way. HN discussionJust for context: 0.8.0 and 0.7.0 were both release near the end of the year with one year between them[0] (2015 and 2014 respectively). If there is a 0.9.0 coming up I'd expect it in late November or December this year, accordingly. However there has been barely any progress[1] on the GitHub repo since February (compared to the previous years), the last commit was 20 days ago and even before that there were typical…

HN discussionThe author mentions [1] (at the bottom, under 'key bindings') that light table uses codemirror[2] as the editor. I am really amazed with how well codemirror emulates basic vim key bindings [3], as I prefer to use ctrl-c rather than escape and I often find that vim emulators either do not support ctrl-c or do not support it well. HN discussionI look forward to writing (essentially vim-) plugins for light table in javascript. Some day soon? Extensions were mentioned on the blog about a year ago ( http://www.chris-granger.com/2012/04/15/light-tables-numbers... ), but as far as I can tell, they're still not here yet :(
