corensic.com is the company blog at corensic.com, writing about programming and systems. Since 2010, 11 different Hacker News readers have linked it 12 times, most often “Haskell -- The Pseudocode Language for C++ Metaprogramming”. No feed was found, so read it on the site itself.
Too few sampled comments (4) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
HN readers link Corensic's pages about Jinx, a deterministic multiprocessing debugger and race detector built on a hypervisor. The links point to product pages, whitepapers, and conference videos and slides.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 4 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

HN discussionJinx can help verify mutex implementations themselves, although the example code that ships with the product is a little more advanced (lock-free stack). Some of the underlying technology is described here: http://s3.amazonaws.com/corensic/whitepapers/DeterministicSh... and here: http://www.corensic.com/WhyYouNeedJinx/CorensicHasaUniqueTec... . Because it's a hypervisor, it can aid in verifying synchronization primi…

HN discussionSo far, nobody has mentioned the author's C++ based race detection tool. Conceptually it is similar to Corensic's commercial product, Jinx ( http://www.corensic.com ) but practically Jinx supports more languages, doesn't require recompilation, and is most likely much faster.

HN discussionThanks a lot for the reply and creating that web page ( http://www.corensic.com/Products/PricingandLicensing.aspx ). As it turns out, the (reduced cost, I assume) non-commercial version will be just right for what I'm thinking of doing in this space. And of course I'll sing the praises of Jinx to the extent it helps me find the nasty types of bugs it's designed to. Hmmm, one of the most interesting (at least to me)…
