Why HN links it
HN commenters link these posts on Ruby's %x() command syntax and on writing reusable Chef cookbooks, with a library cookbook and per-app wrapper cookbooks. The comments only share links and do not evaluate the writing.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 3 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.
