What Hacker News says?

  1. It looks like you get 18.7 miles for the Thorofare area if you look at the boundaries of the wilderness area, not roads. For OSM data, specifically, the area is bigger than that: 21.7 miles. 5. It's pretty simple and fun to compute these for your own use cases. Openstreetmap data is really useful here. One implementation: http://notes.secretsauce.net/notes/2015/05/06_poles-of-inacc...

  7. Did the existing org-to-blog things not work for you? Here's a (probably incomplete) list: https://orgmode.org/worg/org-blog-wiki.html I've been using v1 of o-blog for a while, and it works ok: http://notes.secretsauce.net Maybe the other options are better, I don't know. Would definitely be interested in hearing people's personal experiences.
