Eric Moritz's personal blog at eric.themoritzfamily.com covers programming and data. Since 2011, 6 different Hacker News readers have linked it 12 times, most often “Erlang Websockets benchmark demo against other frameworks”. The last post was in 2015, but the archive is still widely read.
Too few sampled comments (3) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
HN commenters link this blog for its web server benchmark results, comparing Node.js, Erlang, Go, Python, and Java for websocket concurrency and scaling on EC2 and physical hardware.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 3 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

What Hacker News says?
One example: http://eric.themoritzfamily.com/websocket-demo-results-v2.ht... Has Node.js, Erlang, Scala, go and a lot of Python. On EC2 Erlang and Java pretty much blow everything else out of the water.

HN discussionMy previous link is a more general performance comparison across many languages. I realized upon re-reading that you were more interested in concurrency/scaling, this might be more what you are looking for: http://eric.themoritzfamily.com/websocket-demo-results-v2.ht...

HN discussionAnother set of benchmarks that shows Erlang's cowboy coming ahead on EC instances. It also compares EC2 vs real hardware and throws more contenders in the mix. On physical hardware the race is pretty close (except node, python-gevent, but cluster node did very well). http://eric.themoritzfamily.com/websocket-demo-results-v2.ht...
