Thanks for the sharing the link - great read. I used to have inadequate levels of Vitamin D at 13 ng/ML and jumped on 50,000 IU supplements for 8 weeks and now am on 5000 IU every 2nd day. My Vitamin D levels are back into the healthy zone at 54 ng/ML and it has certainly made a massive difference in my well being and resistance to flu. I obviously had to blog about it since it's such a cheap and simple fix to your…

on “Waking up early, 10 tips that worked for me”Yap yap yap.. my favorite of the lot. Better then meditation. The word "psychedelic experience" might be stretching it but you do get minor visual & auditory hallucinations that are basically your conscious mind observing your subconscious.. stuff monks train for years to achieve in standard meditation while in a tank - bam! Here's a 2 part blog post I wrote on Isolation Tanks ~ http://blog.ernestsemerda.com/2009/09…

on “Why you get ideas in the shower”I saw a link on hacker news to this article on how to sleep five hours a day[1]. Since following this advice, my life is really much better. Like Steve I set a fixed wake up time (5am) and go to sleep whenever I'm tired. I use a lamp that slowly turns on leading up to 5am and always get out of bed right at 5am and immediately make tea first thing. Then I use the computer or read in front of the 10,000 lux lamp. I pr…
