  17. I believe it's what the spider drawn by David Thorne produces: https://27bslash6.com/overdue.html Ironic that payment via random drawings became a "reality" in this crazy world after all.

  19. Impossible to mention a list of interview questions without acknowledging David Thorne's 10 interview questions on 27bslash6. They're almost entirely ridiculous though I've used a couple when interviewing people. "How is this an issue?" and "Are you pro-active or reactive" can both lead to exceptionally telling answers. Or just confusion, despair and upset... but certainly have the possibility to almost.... http://w…

  20. Yeah, I wonder what that even means? You can't "return" data. You can either delete the data, or hand over the media that it's encoded upon. It reminds me a bit of David Thorne's famous "spider" email exchange http://www.27bslash6.com/overdue.html (fourth email)

  21. "To that end, Aaron returned the data he had in his possession and JSTOR settled any civil claims we might have had against him in June 2011." Reminds me of that spider drawing comic [0]. [0] http://www.27bslash6.com/overdue.html

  23. Completely missed that on previous watches of the film. 27b-6 is a reference to George Orwell's address; Apartment 6, 27B Canonbury Square, Islington London. It's also the website of David Thorne, who is always amusing if you're looking for some vicious sarcasm: http://www.27bslash6.com/missy.html

  24. It's unclear if you're trolling, but assuming you're not, the analogy doesn't work because digital things and physical things behave in fundamentally different ways. In the physical example, according to the FBI's "just this one iPhone" claim, one would reasonably expect that the company could then destroy the hypothetical master key as soon as it's used. This makes sense in a physical world, but the analogy breaks…

  25. I've got to say that the beginning of your post reminded me of this so much: http://www.27bslash6.com/halogen.html In all seriousness, coming from a Mediterranean country to the UK, the summers can be quite annoying with the light starting a little after 4am and if you don't have a good set of blinds it can get very disruptive. Your solution (ugly as it maybe ;) ) it's actually quite good as it does not require a lo…
