Why HN links it

HN readers link this blog for its technical how-to posts, such as a 2018 note on true color in tmux and Neovim and a 2019 post on EXIF image rotation data. The comments only cite these posts and say nothing about the writing.

Summarised by Claude from a sample of 2 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.
