Too few sampled comments (1) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
Only one commenter, linking her Substack in a thread about a Utah executive's rant. The comment compares involuntary psychiatric detention of dissenters to Soviet practice and cites a Canadian doctor's vaccine-related claims.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 1 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

What Hacker News says?
This is a tactic the soviets used. They would call someone mentally ill, and take them away to the mental word. Interestingly enough, without casting any judgment on the claim. Canada put a doctor that claimed a rise in vaccine related still births in the mental hospital recently, and treated him with psychotic medication. https://www.factcheck.org/2021/12/scicheck-doctor-makes-fals... https://jessicar.substack.com/…
