What Hacker News says?
If fame is your measure for success, sure. Cushion took no funding to reach profitability, and is growing at a rate that Jonnie seems to enjoy. Here's his portfolio site, in case you wonder what no-name unknown companies worked with him before: http://destroytoday.com/

HN discussionI believe stripe's designers include @destroytoday, his design of paper 53 impressed me a lot several years ago [1]. Surely it also contains animations, but it's more elegant and smoother. [1] https://destroytoday.com/blog/building-the-pencil-page

HN discussionOn a slight tangent, I love reading the first posts of a blog. Especially when the subsequent posts are about the person building or designing said blog. It it’s really hard to find those kinds of posts or blogs. All the results on google are blog spam articles about making money with a blog. Can anyone recommend some? Here’s one of my favourite examples. https://destroytoday.com/blog/hello-world
