jsdw is a personal blog at jsdw.me about programming and systems. Since 2018, 3 different Hacker News readers have linked it 6 times. No feed was found, so read it on the site itself.
Too few sampled comments (6) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
Personal blog of coding posts, including a neural net tutorial, a Haskell continuation-monad post, and WebAssembly component notes. Commenters link it as a homepage or as a learning resource.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 6 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

Here's me: https://jsdw.me I am proud to have maybe the slowest css animation ever used so that, if you wait several hours, you'll see the clouds move across the screen :D

on “Building a Kickass Portfolio”> Async/await is releasing next year, hopefully in Q1. This will simplify future asyncio development and make it much more legible I started using some of the async/await syntax using https://github.com/alexcrichton/futures-await about 6 months ago. I had much problems with understanding the compiler errors because async functions were created using macros, and the compiler was not going a very good job at showing t…

on “Ask HN: What technologies did you learn in 2018?”In case it helps, I also had a go at an introductory neural net tutorial which I probably never shared anywhere: https://jsdw.me/posts/neural-nets/ I found that I had to read a bunch of these things to really grasp them myself.

on “Build a Neural Network”That's right, but only because it's a 1-to-many comparison error. Callbacks are one particular monad, not monads in general: https://jsdw.me/posts/haskell-cont-monad/

on “What's functional programming all about? (2017)”This is funny timing to me, because just the other week I did a dive into WebAssembly and WASI 0.2 ( https://jsdw.me/posts/wasm-components/ ) and assumed that 0.3 would be a while yet as there was no obvious (to me) sign it would come for a while! Once the tooling is there and Rust has a wasi 0.3 target I'll give it more of a look at :)
