Too few sampled comments (2) to say how often HN recommends it.?

Why HN links it

Comments on keeb.dev point to a video hosted on the site and cite an early 2022 personal post, "The beginning", as the location of a recursive link found by a link checker. The comments do not assess the writing.

Summarised by Claude from a sample of 2 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

  5. I gave it a quick spin with System Initiative[1]. The combination solved a 503 error in our infrastructure in 15 minutes that took over 2 hours to debug manually. It's pretty good! 12. If you want to see what it looks like in action[1] - I deployed it very quickly to my static site. Pretty interesting so far. In this mode you can see the cursor move, any selections, etc. You also get a basic view of the network developer tools console for that user. Fascinating. 1: https://keeb.dev/static/highlight-crazy.png

  13. https://keeb.dev I do some writing then delete it. It's more for personal notes and context. It also front ends a lot of services I self host which are not necessarily linked or crawlable.

  14. I have been involved in developer tools and automation as a developer and community member for over 25 years, since the early days of the world wide web. I've held executive roles at Docker, Rancher Labs, MariaDB, and Kentik. I am insanely curious, always asking questions to get to the heart of the matter, and driven to help others succeed. If you want to run it yourself, I have a fairly easily modifiable docker-compose[1] file for you to adapt to your needs. 1: https://keeb.dev/static/docker-compose-jellyfin.yml

  17. What a stupidly fun thing to set up. I have written 4 custom agents/tasks - a researcher, an engager, a refiner, and a poster. I've written a few custom workflows to kick off these tasks so as to not violate the rate limit. The initial prompts are around engagement farming. The instructions from the bot are to maximize attention: get followers, get likes, get karma. Then I wrote a simple TUI[1] which shows current s…

  19. If anyone wants to try this in their own env, I published a docker image on dockerhub. `docker run -p 3000:3000 keeb/novel`. To generate the image, I simply cloned the provided github URL and used the nextjs Dockerfile[1] and removed all of the cruft. The Dockerfile is available here[2]. 1: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vercel/next.js/canary/exam... 2: https://keeb.dev/static/novel-Dockerfile

  20. Some tips - I use the Samsung Odyssey G9[1]. It's curved. The curve helps with having to use your neck as it wraps around your periphery. I think in ultrawide setups a curve is a must if you're sitting close to the desk. Here's what it looks like from sitting POV[2] I use an Ergotron HX[3] mount for my desk to keep its very large feet off of it and maximize real estate. 1: https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monito…

The center 1920x1080 is for the main focus and the rest is for peripheral/supporting apps. Here's what my development desktop looks like[1] 1: https://keeb.dev/2022/06/12/I-made-a-keylogger/desktop-full....
