What Hacker News says?

  1. Not completely true. I’m active on SO and other stack exchange sites as a consumer and bookmark tons of questions. They sync with https://Larder.io for me too. I can’t upvote though.

  3. It's not really what you're after, but we're some folks trying to compete with Pinboard. I'm sure Maciej once tweeted something about it being a business that could be successful for a couple of indie devs, not a big VC-backed startup, and that's what we are... Although the successful part is still a ways off :) Anyway, our thing is https://larder.io . Our angle is that we'll sync your github starred repos as bookma…

  5. I have an old grand-fathered-in Pinboard account, but I couldn't deal with the constant issues so I'm happily paying for https://larder.io/ now – powered by a small, independent business, but the product actually works.

  9. If you use https://larder.io/ with GitHub star sync enabled you can get weekly emails for new release notes. While it doesn't replicate the functionality demonstrated here, it's still a cool tool.

  11. Love it. But I don't understand this bit: https://larder.io/account/ Bookmark limit Trial: 1/day Paid: Unlimited So far that's not true, unless I'm reading it wrong. I've started a trial account and have bookmarked at least 20 sites. Is there a restriction I'm missing here?

  13. Currently, I am using Larder ( https://larder.io/ ), which is a bookmarking tool for developers. It supports categorizing and tagging bookmarks. Categorizing is done by folders. You can make a folder that has child. It will make you easier to organize bookmarks. Beside that, you can search your bookmarked links by tag, title, and URL. This tool also supports synchronizing your GitHub stars. So, you can track updates…

  17. I recently found out about Larder.io[1]. It nicely integrates with github stars, web clipper and has an API. I like it for it's simplicity as most of these tools are way too much for simple bookmarking. [1] https://larder.io
