What Hacker News says?
This is a _great_ tutorial series! I've already added it to my React/Redux links list ([0}), and is definitely one that I'd point people to right away in the future, along with other tutorials like the official React docs ([1]), the "React to the Future" slideshow ([2]), and the "Learn Raw React - no JSX or ES6" tutorial ([3]). HN discussionI like React a lot, but boy. That file size is getting pretty large: http://elijahmanor.com/react-file-size/ Looks to be around 45KB gzipped now, to say nothing of the parse time. It's becoming a pretty huge dependency and I wonder how much of it 90% of projects really use. Personally, I've been getting along just fine with Preact, which matches a lot of the API and is just 3KB gzipped: https://preactjs.com

HN discussionYes, this would work in most languages. I also like CoffeeScript's multi-line Regexes where you're able to add comments. Example: http://elijahmanor.com/regular-expressions-in-coffeescript-a...
