What Hacker News says?
I'm afraid it would with such a plugin/script on Ubuntu Unity as the menu associated with each of the tiled windows would appear in the top bar of the screen, but I intend to play with this in Unity 2d... http://markhansen.co.nz/xmonad-ubuntu-oneiric/

HN discussionIf this kind of thing interests you, I made an app that graphs last.fm song listens in the same way as Wolfram's graphed his emails. I find changes in listening habits correlate well with big life changes. http://markhansen.co.nz/scatter.fm

HN discussionI built http://markhansen.co.nz/scatter.fm and http://wirelessmap.markhansen.co.nz/ using Twitter Bootstrap. The experience was awesome, it made it so easy to experiment and get a prototype out the door quickly. It was great for these little visualisation projects.

HN discussionOptions I have found: Somewhat manual, using takeout (seems a lot of effort): https://www.markhansen.co.nz/google-photos-backup/ A script using a headless browser (maybe scriptable, but sounds brittle): https://github.com/vikas5914/google-photos-backup
