Why HN links it
HN readers cite this blog for a critique of Google borrowing others' PR efforts, and for an entrepreneurship post arguing that when things go wrong, it is the founder's own responsibility.

What Hacker News says?
I was not referring to the media coverage. I was referring to Google's practice of piggybacking on others' PR efforts - http://www.marksonland.com/2009/04/google_likes_to_steal_oth... . In Wolfram's case they did it twice in rapid succession. That is what's interesting.

HN discussionThere is a good article, linked within, about how as an entrepreneur, of things go wrong, it's your fault. I'd say that's valuable advice for humans, not just entrepreneurs. This belief is useful not because it true , but because acting as of it's true offers you the best chance of changing what you can change. http://www.marksonland.com/2010/03/note_to_entrpreneurs_its_...
