What Hacker News says?
This looks not too different than modern versions of the block-based blog editors in Wordpress or Ghost where you can alternate Markdown blocks with rich elements. Ghost persists the data using the Mobiledoc format, which is JSON, not rendered HTML. This allows flexibility for display. https://madhatted.com/2015/7/31/announcing-content-kit-and-m...

HN discussionIt's difficult to say exactly since SEO isn't really an exact science. Some of them will definitely be an improvement. For example, it's not really valuable for someone to land on one of your tag pages. Putting all your links to your content pages inside H2 tags tells search engines that they're more important that other links on the page. The /title one is big. Google likes short URLs without a lot of extra cruft.…

HN discussionFirst of all, this looks truly awesome! I've spent a lot of time recently looking at the available open source editors, and with the exception of specifically 'code editors' there isn't much out there that supports markdown. I have been reading about the recently announced content-kit: http://madhatted.com/2015/7/31/announcing-content-kit-and-mo... and am wondering if you have considered the 'card' style concept for…

HN discussionI really enjoyed the EmberConf talk about movie studios using it for movie promo sites because they needed to be able to get them up quickly. I think if you took that concept and maybe a blog post about doing an Ember PWA ( https://madhatted.com/2017/6/16/building-a-progressive-web-a... for example) then maybe the large part doesn't matter so much...

HN discussionI don’t work there, but was an early customer and have built apps from 1.x days. The things that have improved: 1. Performance, performance, performance. It’s not fair, but anything that existed before react really was slow, because all JS dom updating was basically .innerHtml. Once we (as a JS community left that), everything has gotten faster (especially ember). See https://madhatted.com/2016/11/30/5-things-to-kno…

HN discussionThis release of Ember.js integrates the new Glimmer rendering engine and stabilizes a year of work by contributors. It is a backwards compatible drop-in upgrade that should also yield a significant performance bump for many use-cases. Additionally it unblocks other feature work Ember has coming down the pipeline! For those who haven't been keeping up with Ember or the Glimmer effort, I wrote a list of five things yo…
