Why HN links it
Commenters link one post, 'Your writing style is costly', as a bare link when discussing unclear abbreviations and jargon, such as 'RE' meaning reverse engineering. None praise or criticise the writing.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 6 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

HN discussionI read the title and thought "What is an RE?" not because I don't know what reverse engineering is, but because multiple things are called RE in this world. Including Resident Evil. How would I know. Then I clicked the link, and the first line also says it's a RE tool. Huh. Fuck me, right? So I'm gonna leave it here: https://blog.mitchjlee.com/2020/your-writing-style-is-costly
