Why HN links it
HN readers link Nari Labs' product pages for its speech models, Nari Qwen3-TTS and Qwen3-ASR, which are discussed in a Show HN thread on accuracy, latency and cost.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 1 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

HN discussionI meant the Nari inference engine for Qwen3-ASR. I'm aware that Qwen3-ASR is open source, but I don't see a repo under https://github.com/nari-labs for nari-qwen3-asr or similar. The Huggingface link on https://narilabs.com/product/stt/ links to https://huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3-ASR-1.7B , not anything under https://huggingface.co/nari-labs

HN discussionHey HN, Toby from Nari Labs here. Our TTS endpoints for Qwen3-TTS 1.7B are live: > "Fast" endpoint: client-side p90 time-to-first-audio (TTFA) at 50ms. > "Standard" endpoint: dirt cheap at $5 per 1M characters, still faster than industry avg at 200 ms TTFA. TTFA is measured using our OSS benchmarking tool from us-west-1 and us-east-1 ( https://github.com/nari-labs/benchmarks.git ). Quality: link to TTS samples ( htt…
