  7. Yes, I did a blog post when it happened: https://captnemo.in/blog/2018/06/02/google-tld-no-more-a-rec... . Google was pointing its TLDs to 127.0.0.53, and once they started using the TLDs actively, they removed the records.

  17. I love doing this, especially to liberate content that is locked away in a app-only world otherwise. That's one important usecase that I'd love more people to work on - it is a great way to start with reverse-engineering, and building simple websites. Pro-tip: If the undocumented API has a "CORS:*" header, you can call these APIs directly from the browser on your domain, without having to proxy them or using curl As…

  21. Mozilla has published a DoH resolver policy[0], which should hopefully allow more resolvers to be added to the default list, and let Firefox pick as per latency. My personal resolver gives me better latency than both CF and Google, and I plan to get it added to the list[1]. 27. This sounds weird. When CNBC broke the story a month back, I'd : 1. gone around deleting every invoice from my GMail inbox 2. Noticed it wasn't getting removed after waiting for 24 hours. 3. Reached out to the reporter mentioning google might be not deleting it properly. 4. Waiting a couple more days and calling off the alarm when google did finally delete it. I wrote about it at https://captnemo.in/blog/2019/06/01/…
