Too few sampled comments (3) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
HN readers link this blog for Angular and Vue articles, such as the Angular CLI 7.3 nomodule feature, Angular Ivy, and a Vue 2 to 3 migration path. Commenters cite these posts as sources or further reading.

What Hacker News says?
I think it's supposed to work that way in Vue 3 as you don't import the full Vue script anymore. Also as long as we're talking about Vue, people that have Vue 2 apps and missed the 3.1 release announcement (I don't remember seeing it on HN's frontpage) should check it out, there is a compatibility layer that works really well to migrate progressively. I started with this post https://blog.ninja-squad.com/2021/06/07/…

HN discussionI was reading an article about the newest features coming to Angular ( https://blog.ninja-squad.com/2019/01/31/angular-cli-7.3/ ) and was intrigued by the `nomodule` attribute. However, I do not use the CLI for my Angular projects, so I instead made a plugin to do it for me. It uses `minimatch` to find any files you list as being only needed for older browsers (or IE) and labels them with the nomodule attribute.
