What Hacker News says?
I wouldn't call these tricks, just using ssh properly. Here is an article with some less known features of ssh: http://www.jedi.be/blog/2010/08/27/ssh-tricks-the-usual-and-...

HN discussionI'd be inclined to call this "basic usage of ssh", rather than "ssh tricks". For some more interesting tips see http://www.jedi.be/blog/2010/08/27/ssh-tricks-the-usual-and-...

HN discussion«DevOps» term originated from conference named «DevOps»: http://www.jedi.be/blog/2009/12/22/charting-out-devops-ideas... Wikipedia quotes description of tne conference, not a description of DevOps role. However, if you read carefully original article, you will see that main idea was to close gap between ops and dev team by bringing dev techniques, such as Agile, to ops team. So, DevOps IS developer with Ops knowledg…

HN discussionLinky - http://www.jedi.be/blog/2010/02/12/what-is-this-devops-thing... Call it what you will, 'DevOps' is just what you'd expect a good sysadmin to do in a sufficiently large org. That there is on going friction between developers and sysadmin ("it works on my box" is a valid excuse?) is perhaps a larger sign of the culture and people involved.
