  1. Yes, also having some "related" posts is nice. Here is my way for jekyll, which I copy-pasted-adapted. https://blog.pwkf.org/2022/08/13/adding-navigation-tags.html

  3. So that. I mean, just make sure that your blog is easily consumed by any web search engine. And in addition to the full non-paginated index, I also have a full non-paginated tags page. Like categories, but with pages showing multiple times if they have multiple tags. https://blog.pwkf.org/tags.html My pet feature I'll try to add is sidenotes. It does annoys me to jump back and forth to read them. Even as a popup (wi…

  11. Best is to hire a mix, but code like only juniors come in. As a senior is always a temporary junior at first when hired. https://blog.pwkf.org/2022/09/18/always-optimize-for-dummies...

  13. So. That. https://blog.pwkf.org/2022/09/18/always-optimize-for-dummies... "Easy to read" means "easy for others". Current efficiency is usually borrowed on future one.

  15. There are indeed 2 religions. Data oriented or Code oriented. Both are making very different choices as they have diverging trade offs. I wrote something along the lines. Not the same, but very similar given enough abstraction https://blog.pwkf.org/2022/08/07/two-programming-religions-c...

  17. I actually was also thinking that way. But then, after looking back at my old code, I struggled and crafted my 1SLOC guiding principle. I never looked back. Wasting time when writing code is actually an investment into future read speed. I even wrote some time ago about my rationale for 1SLOC https://blog.pwkf.org/2022/09/18/always-optimize-for-dummies...
