  3. Other vendors are making dev boards based on the RP2040 at different sizes. SparkFun looks to have some smaller form factors, though I can't see wireless listed on board: https://www.sparkfun.com/news/3707 Pimoroni has a range of "packs" (rather than Hats) on the way, including a wireless one : https://blog.pimoroni.com/pico/

  6. In all fairness both sides seem to have engaged in sleazy behavior throughout the years. To me this whole situation was nothing more than a hizzy fit by Massimo Banzi whose enormous ego won't allow him to see the forest for the trees. Somebody already posted the story of Hernando Barragán so now I'll post some of the strong arm tactics that they (the alleged less sleazy arduino) employ against their partner reseller…

  8. @Daneel_ heres some initial figures from pimoroni: "The built-in Wireless LAN and Bluetooth and the more powerful processor mean that the Raspberry Pi 3 draws about twice the current of its predecessor when under heavy CPU load (750mA vs 360mA)." ~ http://blog.pimoroni.com/raspberry-pi-3/

  9. You really don't need a heatsink as well, the SoC has a heatspreader pre-installed. Fan SHIM will take your Pi 4 well below throttle temperatures even at full load!
