Why HN links it
HN commenters link PJ Hyett's posts when discussing open source conduct, citing his 'how not to open source' post about the Capistrano episode, and his personal post about San Francisco.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 2 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

HN discussionAccording to this[0] page on his website, pjhyett grew up in the Midwest.
