Why HN links it

  1. > Do you think Steam reviews are coordinated? Yes. It's not even a question. Steam flags outliers too. https://store.steampowered.com/app/281990/Stellaris/ It got review bombed starting on Feb 14th because a different game that the company makes (HOI4) released DLC that upset the sensibilities of part of that player base. 3. We use a combination of Codecks[0] which is like Trello but with more features for software dev. It imports Trello, too. Their focus is game developers but we've been using it for our business software dev... For heavier documentation that doesn't really belong on a kanban card, we use our own product, Miki[1]. 5. Another kanban tool to consider is Codecks[0], which I learned about here on HN. We liked it so much we moved from Trello. It's marketed for game devs (which I think is a mistake!) but it's a powerful tool for any kind of small team (we use it for enterprise software dev) and also has a free plan. [0] http://codecks.io

  7. Two great kanban tools to try are Trello[0] and Codecks[1]. The latter is sold as a tool for game devs but there's nothing about games in it and we use it for enterprise software dev. Interestingly, kanban was invented by Toyota who used it to revolutionize their company's accuracy and productivity[2]. 9. I found it in an old browser bookmarks list: "Codecks is a project management tool inspired by collectible card games. [...] Well designed collectible card games provide a great sense of the current state of your game. Let's apply those design cues to project managent."[1] This is a project written for the Game Design industry based on shortcomings in existing software and that aims at just the right amount of compl…
