Too few sampled comments (1) to say how often HN recommends it.?

Why HN links it

One HN comment points to the site's Arcaders.rs post on Rust game development, suggesting it for ideas on inheritance and entity systems. The comment does not assess the Rust-Doom post itself.

Rambling about software and philosophy.

What Hacker News says?

  1. I think you should check out Arcaders.rs. There are still proposals for some sort of inheritance to be added, to make it easier to do the DOM, which might (or might not) be useful for an entity system. Also, you'd likely want to be using Rust 1.4. It just came out this week. http://jadpole.github.io/arcaders/arcaders-1-1/
