  3. For me it was "How to Take Smart Notes" by Sönke Ahrens. This may be a little cliche answer, but to me it was very surprising to discover a person who reached such high productivity in Academic Publishing with the help of a smart system. I have started to implement the Zettelkasten system in my own life. Hope that will use that system to publish more work on my website. I published my thoughts, learning and notes on…

  5. I've been using Webmention.io on my own site ( https://rasulkireev.com ) and it works beautifully. A lot of frameworks and static site builders have a plugin to integrate webmentions on one site. I believe this came from the Indieweb movement, which I am a huge fun of.

  7. Yes, I keep it here https://rasulkireev.com/brain/ . It is an interesting merge between manual an automatic process. I keep a Joplin database, with a PARA structure. Then I wrote a script that export all the notes from the Resource section. I then take that folder and put it into my static site builder. Et voila!

  11. Depends on what you actually want. I use a mix of Obsidian and Joplin. Joplin is very similar to Evernote, but much more pleasant. It is open source and is actively developed. You own you data and you can us ethe ap on any device. I wrote a small intro about Joplin -> https://rasulkireev.com/joplin/ . I use Joplin as a storage for some of my thoughts on different topics. I organized my library with the PARA method.…
