Red Tomato's Blog is a personal blog at tech.aufomm.com about programming and systems. Since 2024, 3 different Hacker News readers have linked it 4 times. No feed was found, so read it on the site itself.
Too few sampled comments (2) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
HN readers link the author's post on using Nix with Ubuntu, shared as a resource for people encountering Nix for the first time. Comments only link it and do not judge the writing.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 2 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.
This blog is about the things that I learnt randomly. The main focus would be on server deployment, network security etc.
What Hacker News says?

Few links I found, for anyone else encountering this for the first time: https://rasmuskirk.com/articles/2024-07-24_dont-use-nixos/ https://tech.aufomm.com/my-nix-journey-use-nix-with-ubuntu/ https://jeancharles.quillet.org/posts/2023-02-07-The-home-ma... https://www.reddit.com/r/NixOS/comments/16tdugd/…
