Why HN links it

The only comment here concerns whether the site's RSS and JSON feeds can be parsed by a web reader app, not the writing. Its topics are not described in the comments.

This is my webspace. A niche-less blog where I gather and share my ideas and document my life. I consider this blog as an evolving art project itself.

  3. Even im fascinated by such things. I would definitely suggest you to read a book titled ‘The Toaster Project’ where the artist tries to create a toaster from scratch including the plastic casing. This also inspired me to write about a thought experiment called ‘Man from the Future’: https://rishikeshs.com/man-from-the-future/

  7. I’m currently working on a Static HTML Comment system for my blog[1]. I recently moved my blog from Wordpress to Hugo and wanted to move away from Disqus. The goal is to build a backend that receives the comment, forwards to Telegram for approval and then push a code to Github for rebuilding the site. I’ve implemented a POC currently with Google Apps Script, but trying to build a robust backend with Flask. Preventin…

  15. I was learning how to work with Cloudflare Workers and implemented something called a Pixel Mosaic: https://rishikeshs.com/mosaic/ . It's a live pixel mosaic where anyone can change the color, with the color being chosen randomly, so the chances of two adjacent tiles having the same color are quite low. I also log the country to see where people who have clicked it are from. I am currently working on a desktop 8x8 L…

  17. Loved it! Is the code publicly available? When I built mine[1], I did the mistake of keeping each row as 26 weeks and 2 rows roughly as one year of life. This causes some rounding errors! Loved this design as its responsive. Question: The wider cells, do they represent one week and its simply wide just to fit in the text? [1] https://rishikeshs.com/timeline/
