Too few sampled comments (2) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
Roberto Di Cosmo's blog, linked for posts on CoreOS and OCaml. One commenter calls the CoreOS overview great work and points to his ami-thinner project; another cites an Lwt threading link.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 2 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

HN discussionThere are apparently some such libraries already. I haven't used any, but they seem to all use process-level threading; there's no lightweight threading library (like Lwt) that uses real threads. Actually, I'm wrong; turns out it is possible to delegate Lwt threads to system threads: http://ocsigen.org/lwt/api/Lwt_preemptive . This model doesn't seem to allow communication between them, however. 1. http://projects.c…
