Too few sampled comments (2) to say how often HN recommends it.?

Why HN links it

Linked for reverse engineering writing, including a post on concrete versus abstract interpretation of chess, which one commenter connected to the 2048 Markov decision process article.

Summarised by Claude from a sample of 2 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

What Hacker News says?

  1. What a coincidence. I was just reading a blog about concrete vs abstract interpretations of chess (and how to deal with its massive state space through abstract representation) this morning: http://www.msreverseengineering.com/blog/2018/2/26/concrete-...

  3. Compiler identification is not fairly straightforward when you remove all metadata that gives you hints. It gets worse when you fake the metadata. My opinion echoed by many top people in reverse engineering industry. Modern C++ is obfuscated by default due to templates, inlined functions and of course OOP. For example, Marcus Hutchins famously echoed Boost is a cluster fuck of sadness. My point is not about obfuscat…
