Why HN links it
HN readers link this blog's post on using LLMs for summarization. The one comment only works out when the post was written, using an Internet Archive capture and a date on the blog index, and does not judge the writing.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 1 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

What Hacker News says?
I couldn't see a date on this piece but the Internet Archive first captured it on May 14th: https://web.archive.org/web/20230514232943/https://www.sebas... (Relevant here because even five months is a long time in LLMs!) Update: turns out there's a date on https://www.sebastianmellen.com/post/ - this post is from 18th March, so seven months ago.

HN discussionNot to self promote, but all of my thoughts on this are stated here: https://www.sebastianmellen.com/post/2023/the-killer-use-cas... . Since writing that, we’ve started using https://read.ai and other similar tools at my company, and we find them very helpful. I also have a friend working on a large content moderation team that will be using LLaMa 2 for screening comments. Lots of uses!
