Too few sampled comments (2) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
Linked in an HN thread on Obama's 2008 chances, for a post arguing Bill Clinton polarises white and black voters to Hillary Clinton's advantage. No comment judges the writing itself.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 2 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

What Hacker News says?
That's great, but Obama won't win in a national election, nor even the democratic nomination. : http://davidadewumi.com/2008/01/24/why-obama-wont-win-in-a-n... I don't support any candidates right now, but I think people should also take a look at how Bill Clinton polarizing white and black voters, is working to HRC's advantage: http://bernardmoon.blogspot.com/2008/01/breakfast-with-dick-...

HN discussionIf you are going to a World Top 5 - then it might be worth it to network with the people who are going to be hiring CEOs. Maybe not even then. I don't have the reference in front of me, but I seem to recall something about a study of the Fortune 500 CEOs, and there were as many from some state school (University of Wisconsin, maybe?) as there were from Harvard. Edit: some links about this point. http://content.spenc…
