HN discussionHi Eric, Congratulations on your startup! There is at least one big tool that does exactly the same you wrote. It is called StatusGator https://statusgator.com There are at least 3 much smaller ones. Have you tried any of them? If yes, what's your point of difference? And how do you plan to market it? As I see the plans are cheap, means your LTV is low.

HN discussionI have tons of this kind of data due to my side project, StatusGator. For some services like the big cloud providers I have data going back 7 years. There indeed has been an uptick in AWS outages recently. You can see a bit of the history here: https://statusgator.com/services/amazon-web-services

HN discussionThe page takes 53 seconds to load for me. Initial shell loads quickly, but the content does not appear for almost a whole minute. (Chrome on OS X with all extensions off.) This doesn't help improve my confident in Bitbucket, which is already pretty low based on past uptime: https://statusgator.com/services/bitbucket

HN discussionIt's interesting to me to see all the services that depend on or integrate with GitHub in some way, as they all have problems at times like this. My side project https://statusgator.com shows currently a dozen different services all posting warnings or down notices on their status pages. It's mostly CI services and the like, all which break in some way when GitHub is down.

HN discussionVery cool site! I can see this fleshing out to be a very useful aggregator. I just submitted my bot StatusGator ( https://statusgator.com ) and I'm wondering more about what that $50 payment would get me if I paid for a quick review. Someone would actually sign up for my service and try it out then post a review on your site?
