  7. As well as being a bad-ass programmer, Steve Dekorte is also a great example of this neavu-minimalism. His blog and Io show how deeply he has taken this "philosophy" ( http://dekorte.com and http://www.iolanguage.com ). I also don't want to sound too creepy but he has a awesome apartment: http://twitter.com/stevedekorte/status/10954098266 and http://twitter.com/stevedekorte/status/10901308299

  9. Yes, they are confusing the two. We have a minimal shopping site ( http://stylous.com/ ) that is not minimal on content. My co-founder, Steve Dekorte, is the primary designer. His blog uses a minimal design without being minimal on content ( http://dekorte.com/blog/blog.cgi ) as does his programming language ( http://www.iolanguage.com/ ).

  11. Yes I also find it very aesthetically pleasing. And it's also very functional as well. For eg, see the search on the Reference page: http://www.iolanguage.com/scm/io/docs/reference/index.html Steve Dekorte, the creator of Io, also uses same site design on his on website/blog: http://dekorte.com/

  13. I co-wrote (with Steve) SoundConverter for Windows: http://dekorte.com/projects/shareware/SoundConverter/ The interface talks to an Io "server" which handles business logic. We're currently working on a shopping aggregation startup. The crawler is written in Io. Pixar's RenderMan image tool uses Io as its scripting language: https://renderman.pixar.com/products/tools/it.html Io is still under development so you migh…
