stratospark is a personal blog at blog.stratospark.com about ai and programming. Since 2017, 3 different Hacker News readers have linked it 6 times. No feed was found, so read it on the site itself.
Too few sampled comments (1) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
HN readers link this blog for a write-up on using convolutional neural networks to classify food images. The one comment shares it as a demo of a food-recognition project, alongside a question about calorie estimation.

programming for fun.
What Hacker News says?
Very cool! I shared a small project to demo and explain how I used convolutional neural networks to classify food images: http://blog.stratospark.com/deep-learning-applied-food-class... . I'd be curious about the calorie detection. I'm wondering if it's using some kind of weighted sum of image segmentation proportions, or doing end-to-end deep learning. Anyway, cool product, love to see where it goes!
