Too few sampled comments (1) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
HN readers link this blog for its writing on Mach-O binary format internals. The one comment praises the Mach-O writeup, especially its import binding state machine, and links the author's DWARF line program post.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 1 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

What Hacker News says?
This is a nice writeup, especially the part about the import binding FSA! These kinds of little state machines show in all sorts of image format and image format-adjacent places, like DWARF's line program[1] and location expression encoding. (Having written parsers for all three, I think Mach-O is the best "major" program image format. It's certainly the most well abstracted.) [1]: https://swatinem.de/blog/dwarf-lin…
