What Hacker News says?

  1. This touches on some of the topics that drove Sergey Karayev to write about ‘multiplayer AI’ - https://fullstackdeeplearning.com/working-with-ai-agents/mul... The fact that work is retreating into private chat sessions with AI agents is a loss; the idea of bringing those agentic collaborators out into public spaces to collaborate with teams is interesting.

You could try your hand at the following course and see how it feels? https://fullstackdeeplearning.com/course/ (I loved the experience.) It is much more focused on the engineering than the maths of deep learning itself.

  5. Happy to chat and provide recommendations. I only have a masters, and worked as an ML Engineer in the industry for about 5 years now. It was tough to get a job, but really good portfolio of training and deploying models can really help you stand out. I have teammates with PhDs in Bioengineering and non CS PhDs, and they excel in the industry. I think if you want to complete your PhD, you can and be be competitve in…

  7. Another list that shows pricing both constant and spot. The best GCP spot price is $1.1, but Jarvis seems to say its spot for the 40GB A100 is $0.69: https://fullstackdeeplearning.com/cloud-gpus/ I feel there are more fair criticisms of that paper than its inclusion of the snapshot price of variable priced compute resource.

There's a really nice website by Goku Mohandas called Made With ML. IMO it is the best practical guide to MLOps out there: https://madewithml.com Incase you want to dive a little deeper, https://fullstackdeeplearning.com/course/2022/ is also something I have been recommended by folks.
