Too few sampled comments (6) to say how often HN recommends it.?
Why HN links it
Linked mainly as the TrackJS JavaScript error-tracking product site and blog. One commenter cited its post on keeping monitoring separate from the systems it watches, during the AWS us-east-1 outage.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 6 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

What Hacker News says?
This is pretty good common sense post on not having your failure moods correlate with your client's failure modes. https://trackjs.com/blog/separate-monitoring/ I don't work for any of the entities mentioned.

HN discussionThe level of items being blocked always depends on how the AdBlock is set up. As I wrote in my previous reply, it's just a warning, you can have AdBlock enabled but you might expect issues with social modules (like facebook, twitter and others).
