Why HN links it

HN readers link this TypeDB (formerly Grakn) blog for database and graph content, such as a summary of Stonebraker's article on database data models and the TitanDB-to-JanusGraph fork announcement.

Summarised by Claude from a sample of 3 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.

OrientDB is a good open-source database that exposes a primarily object data model (the document and graph abstractions are built on top of it). Lack of a good query language and scalability issues doomed those. Mike Stonebraker ( https://blog.grakn.ai/what-goes-around-comes-around-52d38ee1... ) had a nice summary in that article.
