  1. Hi! The best example for now is my own blog since it has quite a bit of content https://vitobotta.com/ - it's a blog about programming and devops :)

  3. Defacto docker swarm lose race with k8s and one time almost die, and it has much less features than k8s (or even hashicorp nomad)... But in other hand, personally I don't like k8s because of it complexity, and I really don't like when it used for running only few microservices on 3 hosts xD So my opinion: if you don't have resources to learn k8s and you don't run 100 apps with autoscaling - you can adopt docker swar…

  5. An alternative is Rancher. It can provision clusters with the major cloud providers' managed Kubernetes services as well as with virtually any infrastructure. I wrote a post on setting up a cluster with code using Terraform, Ansible and Rancher https://vitobotta.com/2019/10/14/kubernetes-hetzner-cloud-te... - with this approach you can have more resources for less money compared to managed services. Having said that…

  11. 1. What is your blog about? It's mostly about web programming and DevOps. 2. How often do you write on it? Not as often as I would like. Been very busy. 3. Where do you host it (medium, substack, self-hosted, etc.) and why? I actually just launched a new blogging platform at https://www.dynablogger.com so my blog is hosted there. It's a simple alternative to WordPress or Ghost. Check it out! 4. Link? https://vitobot…

  13. I have been blogging at https://vitobotta.com (hosted on my own blogging platform https://www.dynablogger.com ) since 2010 about web programming, DevOps and related topics. I've had many recruiters reach out to me about jobs over the years who found me via my blog. Much more than from LinkedIn I think. So yeah, a personal website which is relevant to your skills and career can help.
