Why HN links it
Linked as an example of an org-mode wiki built with Firn, a static site generator that publishes public notes, keeps private ones private, and tracks clocked time per project.
Summarised by Claude from a sample of 1 HN comments that link here. Each comment is marked recommending, critical or neutral (citing without judging); how this works.
Ty's personal site — essays, fiction, TIL notes, projects, and weeknotes.
What Hacker News says?
I built Firn[1] a static site generator for my org-mode oriented wiki[2]. I needed a system that could nicely handle publishing public information, and keeping private information private. In addition, I wanted something that accumulated my clocked time in org mode so that I could see how much I have worked on each project. [1] https://firn.theiceshelf.com/ [2] https://weakty.com/
